A visitation for Virginia will be held Sunday, March 19, 2023 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at Snow's Memorial Chapel, 1419 Bass Road, Macon, Georgia 31210. A celebration of life will occur Monday, March 20, 2023 at 2:30 PM at Snow's Memorial Chapel. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery (North Gate). Rev. Lane Collins will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Virginia's memory may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, 1349 W Peachtree St NE Suite 1800, Atlanta, GA 30309.
Mrs. Wynne was born in Porterdale, Georgia the daughter of the late Lola Mae Dykes Jones and Roger William Jones and was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Loche Wynne and a daughter, Angie Wynne and her brother, Tim Jones. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and wife. She was an executive for Georgia Pacific, buying and selling paper.
Mrs. Wynne is survived by her children, Cheryl Wynne Boutwell of Jones County, Pam Wynne Blount of Jones County, Brian Wynne (Patty) of Jeffersonville and Tracy Wynne Benedetti (Billy) of Gray; grandchildren, Jonathan Boutwell, Ashleigh Boutwell Chitty, Natalie Stephens, Daniel Blount, Jenna Epps, Hunter Blount, Elizabeth Wynne, Caleb Wynne, Bailey Shain, and Blake Woods; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Melanie Murray (Bobby) and Bill Jones (Terri); sister-in-law, Carolyn Jones; several nieces and nephews.
