Macon, GA – Vanessa Taylor Rozier, 46, died on Friday, May 31, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 4, 2:00 pm, at Forsyth United Methodist Church in Forsyth, with interment to follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Reverend Ken Stephens will officiate. The family will receive friends at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home on Monday, June 3, from 6:00-8:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dalton Rozier Scholarship Fund, Dalton Rozier Benefit, c/o Cheri Murray, 301 Scarlett Dr., Warner Robins, GA, 31088.
Mrs. Rozier was the daughter of Charles Taylor and Viola Vanderwende. She was born in Dover, Delaware. She graduated from Southwest High School in Macon. She was a hairdresser, and was the owner and a stylist at the Visual Glamour Salon. She attended the Forsyth United Methodist Church. She was the founder of the Dalton Rozier Scholarship Fundraiser Walk. Vanessa was a very giving person, aiding and assisting people throughout her lifetime. She was preceded in death by a son, Dalton Allan Rozier.
Survivors include her husband, Allan Rozier; two daughters, Brittney Archer and Heather (Brandon) Key; her parents, Viola and Charles Taylor; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Thomas and Mona Rozier; a brother, Chuck Taylor; eight nieces and nephews, Daniel and Brycen Taylor; Megan and Mona Foster; Caleb Rozier; Jacob, Haylie, and Stephanie Heath; a great nephew, Landon Shelley; and a great niece, Baileigh Whiddon, and three grandpups, Jax, Sylvie, and Kane.
