Thomas Edward Rozier, 71, passed away on September 8, 2021. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 2:00PM in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Jimmy Rozier and Rev. Randall Mimbs will officiate. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Rozier was born in Cochran, GA to the late John Thomas and Mary Neal Rozier. He was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Rozier was a retired machine tender at Graphic Packing for over forty years and he loved his family “more than life itself”. Mr. Rozier enjoyed fishing and hunting as often as he could go. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Mr. Rozier loved to spoil his bride of 53 years, with traveling and cruises, and anything they could do together. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 53 years, Mona Lea Rozier; son, Steve Rozier; grandson, Dalton Allan Rozier; great granddaughter, Rylan Key, daughter-in-law, Vanessa Rozier and his sister, Rhonda “Candy” Rozier.
Survivors include his children, Allan Rozier, Christy Rozier and Tammy Rozier Heath (Steven); grandchildren, Megan Shelley, Mona Whiddon (Alan), Stephanie Bartholomew (Keil), Caleb Rozier, Brittany Archer, Jacob Heath and Haylie Heath and Heather Key (Brandon); great grandchildren, Landon Shelley, Makynlee Shelley, Aiden Shelley, Baileigh Whiddon, Brynn Bartholomew and Roy Thomas Key. Brothers, Johnnie Rozier (Sue) of Macon and Eric Rozier (Rhonda) of Reynolds; sisters, Frances Taylor (Larry) of Forsyth and Peggy White (Fred) of Dry Branch; abundance of nieces and nephews who adored their uncle Thomas.
