Thomas T. Hudson, 76, entered his heavenly home on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Sunday, April 30th at 3:30pm at Snow’s Macon Memorial Park Chapel with Rev. Chris Wallace and Rev. Heather Wallace officiating. The family will greet friends from 2:00-3:30pm prior to services.
Tom was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Homer Hudson and the late Martha Brake Hudson and was also preceded in death by his step-mother, Beulah Mae Hudson; his brother, Steve Johnson; and sister, Patricia Boyce. Tom graduated from Lanier High School then went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Air Force. He then pursued his long time career in finances. He was a retired Finance Manager with Citi Group, formerly The Associates, and Professional Financial Services in Warner Robins. He was the music director of Macon Evangelistic Church for two decades and also sang in the well known “He Touched Me” passion play that was hosted there for many years. Tom also served at other churches in the Macon area as music director including Log Cabin Baptist Church. He shared his musical talent with many over the years. He was a devoted and loving father, grandfather “Papa Tom”, brother, and uncle. Tom will be remembered for his incredible and powerful singing, witty sense of humor, unmatched work ethic, and love for good movies, the Braves, and the Georgia Bulldogs.
He is survived by his son, Brad (Amy) Hudson of Rincon, GA; daughter, Heather (Chris) Wallace of Decatur, GA; grandchildren, Joshua Wallace and Jocelin Wallace; step grandchildren Lance Blankenship and Chandler Blankenship; brother, Steve (Denise) Hudson of Clarkesville, Ga; and numerous nieces and nephews.
