Thomas Gant Horne, Jr., 78, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Pine Pointe Hospice. The family will meet friends from 4 – 6 p.m., Sunday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Paul Dziadul officiating.
Mr. Horne was born on September 7, 1939, in Rockingham, N. C., to the late Thomas Gant Horne and Grace Miller Horne. He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-one years, Lillie JoAnn Horne.
He worked for Georgia Bakery and Kwickie Foods Store.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed spending time with his family, fishing and watching baseball.
His memory will forever be treasured by his family and faithful friends. He is survived by his daughter, Denna Pinon (Sergio) and Kristure Rocha (Ed); grandchildren, Toni Harris (Matt), Sergio Pinon, Clayton and Cameron Lowe, Jesse (Danielle) and Sam Rocha; four great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
