Terry Edward Garrett, 68, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2014. A Celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Tim Rozier officiating. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Garrett was born in Eastman, GA to the late William J. and Lizzie Smallwood Garrett. He is preceded in death by his two sisters and a brother. He was retired from Western Auto with twenty years of service.
He is survived by his loving wife of forty nine years, Cheryl Lane Garrett, two daughters; Lisa (Ernie) Arnold, Cindy King, son; Doug (Dawn) Garrett all of Macon, nine grandchildren; Ernie (Leigha) Arnold, Jr., Michael (Mary) Arnold, Christopher (Mandi) Garrett, Brittany (Michele) King, Joshua (Jessica) Arnold, Jennifer (Andrew) Baggott, Garrett (Chelsey) King, Dylan Tomko, and Dalton Hammock, five great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
