Susan Adeline Gerhardt, “Other Mama,” passed away in her bed at home on Monday, April 1, 2013. Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm with a Rosary being said at 7:00 pm at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. on Thursday at St. Joseph Catholic Church with interment in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Father Allen McDonald will officiate. Those who wish may make memorial contribution to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 830 Poplar Street, Macon 31201.

Born in Milan, the daughter of the late Lewis Lee Cravey and Susan Adeline Hart Cravey, Mrs. Gerhardt lived in Macon a number of years and worked as a medical secretary. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and was a devoted mother and grandmother. Mrs. Gerhardt was preceded in death by her husband, Alfonzo Wendell Gerhardt, siblings: Thomas Luke Cravey, Lewis Mitchell Cravey, Effie Baker, Pauline Williams, Florine Baggett, John Cravey, Lola Mae Wynne and Zarah Kapper.

Survivors include her daughters, Betty Hunnicutt and Joann Mull; grandchildren, Warner Hunnicutt, Lisa Sassaman, Frosty and Bill Mull; great grandchildren, Clayton and Bryan Hunnicutt, Brett and Payton Sassaman and Page Mull and great grandson, Christian Graham; siblings: Daniel Lewis Cravey, Mollie Carpenter, Montine Cook, Lizzie Moley, Ophelia Klatz and Janie Walden.
