Steven Brian Thompson, 57, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023. A Celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park with Reverend Paul Dziadul officiating. The family will greet friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. After the service the family will greet family and friends at 100 Wilson Way, Macon, Georgia 31216.
Steven was born in Rantoul, Illinois and was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Ledbetter and Ora Willene Blount; and his sister, Pamela Kersey. He loved to be outdoors, especially fishing, and camping. Also in his free time he enjoyed going on vacations to Jekyll Island and tinkering with things.
He is survived by his wife, Winnie Osteen; children, Mandy Croft (Joshua), and Nathan Thompson; four grandchildren, Brianna, Zachary, Jeremy, Haylee Croft; sibling, Joseph Thompson, Jr. (Jackie); Wanda Emery, and Karen Hyde (Jim); and a lot of nieces and nephews.
