Sherry Huckaby

Sherry was born on August 3, 1949, in Augusta, Georgia, to the late Gerald and Grace Johnson and was preceded in death by her daughter, Gracen Strong. When she was young, she was an accomplished singer, making All Chorus in high school multiple times and went on to earn a degree in Music from Tift College. Sherry was a part of Macon Little Theatre and continued to sing for weddings and other events throughout her life. Sherry was also a hairstylist and owned a shop with her mother. She was a former member of Forest Hills United Methodist Church and currently North Macon Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include her son, Michael Huckaby; grandchildren, Alexandria Huckaby and Rilea Addison;

great grandchildren, Luka and Lakotah Addison; and brother, Jerry Johnson.
