Sherrie Denise Griffin, 41, passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Earl Smith officiating.
Sherrie was born in Macon, GA to the late Jerry E. Griffin and Jacqueline Mobley Griffin. She was preceded in death by her nephew, Stanley Byrd. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. Sherrie was a loving daughter, mother, aunt and friend.
She is survived by her daughters, Adara Fortson and Taylor Griffin, mother, Jackie Griffin, sisters, Tammy (Allen) Fortson and Penny Fortson, nieces, Stephanie Brookins, Crystal Byrd, Britney Rochester, Braylyn Rochester, Katie Mikles, several great nieces, nephews and her best friend, Wendy Johnson.
