Sarah Leo Brown Fambro, 84, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2010. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held on Monday, September 13, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Tom Black officiating. The family will greet friends on Sunday, September 12, 2010 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Mrs. Fambro was born in Roanoke, AL, to the late Clem and Sallie Mae Clifton. She is preceded in death by her husband of fifty one years, Elvin Clayton Brown and her son, Elvin Ronald Brown and her second husband of five years, Charlie Fambro. Mrs. Fambro was a member of Revival Fire Ministries Church where she served as Missions director for many years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother and sister.
She is survived by those who loved her most, her children, Marie Jones, Allen (Brenda) Brown, Carlton (Donna) Brown, Patrice (Kenny) Parham, Alesia (Ray) O’Reilly, Melva (Steve) Crumbley, and Susan (Mike) Elliott, forty four grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, siblings, Phillip (Evelyn) Clifton, Worth (Colleen) Clifton, Frank (Peggy) Clifton and Opal (Calvin) Mitchell and numerous nieces and nephews.
