Sandra Nuhn Hodges, 79, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 29 at 3 p.m. at Vineville Baptist Church with Dr. Bill Hardee officiating. The family will greet friends at the church from 2 p.m. until service time. A graveside service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. at Riverside Cemetery. Sandra was born in Peoria, Illinois to the late Floyd Fredrick Nuhn and Louise Koehler Nuhn. She was a member of Vineville Baptist Church and taught an Adult Sunday School class. Sandra was Past President of the PTA at Joseph N. Neel Elementary School. She retired from Farm Bureau Insurance where she was an underwriter. Sandra was a member of the CPCU Society. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 60 years, Bill Hodges; children, Rev. Jeff Hodges (Jackie) and Pam Taylor (Greg); six granddaughters and three great-granddaughters; brother, Rick Nuhn (Ruth), and sister, Linda Walker (Don) and several nieces and nephews.
