

Sara (Sally) Nobles, 77, passed away Monday, November 11, 2013 at a local rehabilitation facility. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Thursday at Wesley United Methodist Church with the Rev. Mark Magoni and Dr. Jimmy Asbell officiating. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Wednesday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue. They suggest that memorial contributions may be made to Methodist Home for Children and Youth, 304 Pierce Avenue, Macon 31204 or to Wesley United Methodist Church, 4256 Hartley Bridge Road, Macon 31216.
Mrs. Nobles, wife of the late Earl T. Nobles, was born in Dublin, GA the daughter of the late Homer S. and Irene Reddick Prescott. She was a graduate of Dublin High School and attended Andrew College. Mrs. Nobles was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church where she served as Church Secretary for seventeen years. She was a former member of Bloomfield United Methodist Church and was member of Methodist Children’s Home Auxiliary. Mrs. Nobles had also worked as secretary at Wigley & Company and at Enterprise Aluminum. She was a member of TOPS and was an avid Georgia Tech fan.
Survivors include her son, William Timothy (Cheryl) Nobles of Macon; her daughter, Glenda (Timothy) Gibbs of Macon; her beloved grandchildren, Lindsey Nobles, Justin Nobles, Chris (Ashley) Webb, Tori (Chris) Reimer and Kyle Gibbs; great grandchildren, Zach and Delana Webb and Max and Lilly Reimer.
