Ruth Morris Morgan, 76, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2022. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, October 31, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Paul Dziadul officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home.
Ruth was born in Cochran, Georgia to the Cecil and Delores Giddens Morris. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jackie R. Morgan, daughter, Dana Rollis and sister, Evelyn. She worked for Zipn Food Stores for many years as a supervisor. Ruth attended Church of the Wildwood and Stone Edge Church. She was involved with the Lake Wildwood Community serving with various activities. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt.
She is survived by her son, Shane (Debbie) Morgan, grandchildren, Ashley, Tyler, Justin, Jackie Ann, Brittany, Joey and Melissa, numerous great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
