Robert Lake Powell

Robert L. “Bull Pup” Powell, 83, passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 surrounded by his family. A Celebration of his life service will be held on Friday, February 13, 2015 at Noon in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Cile Mitchell officiating. The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. to service time at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association (Lewy Body Dementia), P.O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011 or to Vista Care Hospice, 319 Margie Dr., Warner Robins GA 31008.

Mr. Powell was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Fred Charles and Conia Lake Powell. He attended Lanier High School and served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was retired from Georgia Kraft and Riverwood International as a receiving clerk and was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church.

He is survived by wife, Mary Jo Powell of Macon, daughter, Dianne (Robby) Colquitt of Macon, two sons, Alan (Pam) Powell of Lake Park, GA and Gary (Kim) Powell of Macon, grandchildren, Haylee and Garrett Colquitt, Cole and Toni Powell, Kayla Watson, Payton and Cade Powell, and great grandchild, Nolan Watson, brother, Milton (Lynare) Powell and several nieces and nephews.
