Ray Ivey Bridger Sr., 72, passed away January 24, 2023. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, January 27, 2023 at 12 noon at Snow’s Funerals and Cremations at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Scott Davidson officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, January 26, 2023 at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Interment will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with military honors.
Mr. Bridger was born in Macon, GA to Homer and Nell Griswell Bridger. He was a military veteran having served in the United States Army and Marines. He was a Sargent for the Mercer University Police Department. He attended Tabernacle Baptist Church. He was a loving dad, granddad, and brother.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Robin Elaine Barbee Bridger.
He is survived by his son, Ray Bridger Jr. (Samantha); daughter, Amy Vail; grandchildren, Madison and Cason Vail, Lauren Bridger; sister, Peggy Stephens (Danny); and brother, Roy Bridger (Elizabeth).
