Willene B. White, age 85, of Macon, GA passed away Monday, May 23, 2022. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, May 27, 2022 at Snow’s Memorial Chapel-Pio Nono Ave. at 11:00 am with Pastor Paul Dziadul officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:00 am until service time.
Mrs. White was born on September 19, 1936 to the late Ernest and Emma Lou Blount. She was retired from AT&T as a telephone operator after 30 years of service. She was of the Baptist faith.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ivan White. She is survived by her sons, Joseph L. Thompson Jr. (Jacqueline) and Steven Thompson (Winnie Osteen); daughters, Wanda K. Emery, Pamela Joy Kersey, Karen Gail Hyde (Jim); sister, Ernestine Dean (Dick); 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
