Opal Christine Holmes, 89, passed away Friday, May 21, 2021. Private services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday in the Mausoleum Chapel of Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Paul Dziadul will officiate.

Mrs. Holmes is survived by her children, James A. Holmes (Sue) of Camilla, Dennis E. Holmes (Barbara) and M. Alan Holmes (Olette) of Macon; 9 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Byron Holmes and sister-in-law, Freda Andrews; several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Holmes was the widow of Albert Chester Holmes, Jr. and was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Stacy Holmes.

Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home & Cemetery has charge of arrangements.
