Ola Esmalee Brown, 92, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 2, 2017, a reservation she made 71 years ago. While she will be deeply missed, we were blessed with her steadfast faith and love. Esmalee loved telling others about Jesus, reading her Bible and spoiling her grandchildren. She truly had a servant’s heart and was a great example of what it means to be a prayer warrior. Her smile and spirit will forever live on in our hearts.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00 - 11:00a.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. A joyous celebration of her life will follow in the Chapel officiated by Rev. Mike Slade. A brief graveside service will be held at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Warner Robins officiated by Rev. Daniel Gatlyn.
Esmalee was born in Roberta, GA to the late Homer Lee and Winnie Ola Richardson Yaughn. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Talmadge Brown, daughter Robbie Brown Fetters, grandson Lee Armstrong, four sisters and three brothers. Esmalee was a member of Second Baptist Church in Warner Robins and retired from Houston County Board of Education. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother (Nanny), great-grandmother, sister and aunt.
