Henry is survived by daughters, Holly Doss (Phillip Greene) of Calabasas, California, and Haley Newnam (Kemp) of Juliette, Georgia; his adoring grandchildren, Gunner Heath, Dakota Heath, Gage Newnam, Kiran Greene, Rio Greene and Mateo Greene; brothers, Alan Davis (Laurie) and Danny Davis (Jill); sister, Beth Davis Owens (Wayne) all of Valdosta, Georgia; many nieces and nephews, and extended beloved family.
Henry was predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Harding Davis, and his loving wife of thirty-five years, Gail Jones Davis.
Henry was born in Valdosta, Georgia, and was awarded football scholarships to Florida State University and Memphis State University. He played football at MSU and post-injury, transferred to Valdosta State College (now known as Valdosta State University), where he graduated in 1974. While attending Valdosta State College, he became the Founding Father of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity’s Georgia Sigma Chapter.
Henry was an Entrepreneur and Businessman for over 50 years, including Olympia Skate Centers in Macon, Georgia and Warner Robins, Georgia, Comedy Zone in Macon, Georgia, Ocmulgee Disposal (ODI) in Macon, Georgia and Furniture Plus in Birmingham, Alabama. He also served his community for many years as Chairman of the Heart Association local chapter in Macon, Georgia. During his time as Chairman, he founded the Cardiac Cafe, an annual fundraiser that brought laughter and donations to his beloved charity.
A gracious gentleman, Henry was a devoted outdoorsman, a proficient Pilot, loved his farm and Seagrove Beach, a passion he shared with his children and grandchildren. His big and hilarious personality, positive outlook and love for life will truly be missed by all. He touched many lives with his big heart and giving nature in ways big and small, every day.

A Celebration of his Life will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at Northway Church, 5915 Zebulon Road, Macon, Georgia 31210 with visitation following. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of his grandchildren to First Presbyterian Day School, 5671 Calvin Drive, Macon, GA 31210 and to Oaks Christian School, 31749 La Tienda Rd, Westlake Village, CA 91362.
