Mildred T. Stewart, 86, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2017. A graveside service will be on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Rex Odom officiating.
Mrs. Stewart was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Emmett B. and Mary Belle Livingston Thigpen. She was preceded in death by her husband, William G. Stewart and her son, Derek Stewart. Mrs. Stewart was a graduate of A.L. Miller and she attended Crandall Business College. She was a member of the Methodist faith and was retired from Georgia Kraft. She was an accomplished woodworker and self-taught her wood carving.
