MACON – Mildred Rawlings Bezek, 91, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at Pine Pointe Hospice. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Chris Minton and Chip Minton will officiate. The family will meet friends from 10 a.m. to service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bezek, wife of the late George Charles Bezek, was born in Johnson County the daughter of the late Charlie and Pauline Perry Rawlings. She had worked in the office at W. T. Grant and was a devoted homemaker. Mrs. Bezek was a member of Corinth Primitive Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Janice (Ronald) Green of Lizella, Barbara T. (Nathan) Minton of Macon and June Flynt of Zebulon; her sisters, Mary Price of Macon, Myrtle Donaldson of Michigan and Nina Reeves of Milledgeville; nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
