Meg was born on September 4, 1990 in Macon, GA. She was preceded in death by her sister, Amy M. Roughton, grandparents, David and Katie Groover and Julian W. Fowler. She was a graduate of Tattnall Square Academy Class of 2008 and attended Macon State College and Central Georgia Technical College. She attended Central Georgia Church of Christ. Meg was employed by Outback Steakhouse as a manager trainee.
Just like her sister Amy, music was a great influence in Megan's life. She loved listening to music, singing, writing her own songs and playing her guitar. From rocking out at a Red Fish Blu Fish concert to going out for a night of karaoke, music brought her joy and allowed her to spread joy and happiness to her friends and family.
Like a model on the outside, like an angel on the inside, Megan was beautiful in all ways. She had the brightest eyes, the most brilliant smile, the prettiest laugh and a bubbly, infectious personality. She was incredibly talented, creative, and artistic in her music, work and school. She truly was the most positive, beautiful "Ray of Sunshine."
She is survived by her mother, Leila M. Wilkerson of Forsyth, father, Michael B. (Donna) Wilkerson of Macon, her brother-in-law, Loye Roughton of Haddock, Raegan Hedges of Fayetteville, NC, grandmother, Millie A. Carson of Tennille, GA, step-grandmother, Betty C. Fowler of Avon Park, FL, great great aunt, Hazel Townsend of Avon Park, FL, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.
