Mrs. Kelleher was born on the family farm in Low Moore, Iowa to the late Earl Baker and Rachel Johnston Hofer. In 1952, she married Daniel Buell Kelleher, Jr., a handsome young student at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. Her quite rural life became an ongoing adventure. In the next four years, she gave birth to three babies in three different states and later added two more babies. She was the first of her entire family to travel to the South but she made it her home for the rest of her life. She and her husband built a thriving chiropractic practice lasting 40 years until his passing in 1992. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her family. She was a charter member of Forest Hills United Methodist Church and a devoted member of the Marshall’s Singles Sunday School Class during her widowhood.
Mrs. Kelleher is survived by her children, Kathy Cranford (JC), Dede Stevens, Danny Kelleher, III (Sandy), Tim Kelleher (Lynette), Dr. Todd Kelleher (Deanna). She also leaves one brother, Loren Hofer (Lorraine). Her twelve surviving grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren will miss her as well.
