Mary Lee Seay, 65, passed away on Monday, October 3 in Valdosta, Georgia. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 8 at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Hills United Methodist Church with Dr. Baxter Hurley and Rev. Gary Thomas officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Burial will be at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mary was born in Jesup, Georgia to the late Clarence and Lois Williams Smith. She was a graduate of Wayne County High School in Jesup. Mary was retired after 34 years of service from the State of Georgia having worked in the Rehabilitation Services and the Office of Fraud and Abuse. She was a member of Forest Hills United Methodist Church, the Chancel Choir and Burke Sunday School Class. Mary was a former member of Colaparchee Garden Club, Tattnall Square Baptist Church, and Elim Baptist Church crochet club in Gray.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Robert Kenneth Seay; son, Wesley (Joelyn) Seay of Valdosta; daughter, Michelle (Andrew) Lucas of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Mary Evelyn Seay, Robert M. (Bert) Seay, Avery Hamlin, Reynolds Lucas, and Eliza Jane Lucas.
