Mary Frances McCarty, 99, passed away on February 13, 2016. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Reverend Jay Tucker officiating. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time in the funeral home.
Mrs. McCarty was born to the late Lonza Lee Watts, Sr. and Judith Pearl Funderburk Watts in Gray, Georgia. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Jefferson McCarty, Sr. and grandson, Eddie McKinney. Mrs. McCarty was a homemaker and a charter member of Clinton United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her children, James McCarty (Patricia), Patsy McCarty, Sue Dye, Don McCarty (Janice), Butch McCarty (Vickie), Steve McCarty (Diane) and Dean McCarty; brother, Arnold Watts; fifteen grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Bolingreen Health & Rehabilitation and Pine Pointe Hospice for all of the care given to Mrs. McCarty.
