My memory of Helen Ross is of sitting next to her in the Cannon Building as a young girl memorizing  Bible verses for GA's at Pine Forest on Bloomfield Drive.  She is one of main reasons that I accepted Jesus as my savior and even though I lost contact with her, she's been in my heart all the years of my life. I can still feel her sitting next to me, prompting me and giving me all the support she could to learn those verses which I can remember to this day. Those verses helped me stay focused on the many trials of life. I know when she took her last breath,  it was to hear Jesus say, "Well done, thou good and faithful servant ". Love to all those who the privilege of knowing her.

I just learned of Mrs. Ross passing this morning. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family. Mrs. Ross was a sweet lady. We worked with her on the Benevolence Committee at Pine Forest Baptist Church where we attended church with her for many years. We will remember her fondly!

Mrs. Ross was such a sweet beautiful lady, so soft spoken and always had  on her makeup. She was a dear friend to my mother-in-law, Barbara Davis.  They did a lot of things together at Pine Forest.  She will missed.

Growing up on Bloomfield Drive was a special part of my life.   As a
man I can now appreciate that the families who were in our part of the world were the salt of the earth, and that certainly included the Ross family.  I was moved by the fitting tribute posted in memory of Mrs. Ross.   May God add His blessing and grant comfort in this time of loss.

Mike, the girls, and I are so sorry to hear about Mrs. Ross.  She was a beautiful, kind, and funny lady whom we enjoyed knowing at church.  She always wore a smile and brought a smile to our faces as well.  Thoughts and prayers for you all during this time.


Mrs. Louise was friend and fellow church member at Pine Forest Baptist Church with my grandmother, Vallie Keys. I worked with her at Southern Bell. She was a good employee and kind and sweet person. May our Lord give her the rest she deserves and comfort her family.

Indeed a second mother. Aunt Louise always had the most joyous smile.  I was always excited to go to Aunt Louises’ . Our entire family was so blessed with her in our lives. She always placed God first in her life , loved doing for others, and loved her family. I cherish many precious memories spent with her throughout my life. I knew and loved Louise for many years.    She was a friend of my parents and my older sisters.  I got to know her better at Pine Forest Baptist Church.  We called each other "Cuz" and enjoyed reminiscing.  She was a sweet, always so pretty, Christian lady.  She served the Lord and showed her love for Him and others serving  at Pine Forest Baptist Church.  She was a walking history book of all the main events and the different people that  attended Pine Forest over the years.  I know she has gone Home now and will live eternally. Aunt Louise has always been my “2nd Mother.”   I only have fond memories of times I spent with her growing up and into adulthood.
