Mary Ruth J. Boyer

Mary J. Boyer, 86, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2012 in Griffin. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Samuel Loyd officiating. The family suggests that those who wish make memorial contributions to their charity of choice.

Mrs. Boyer, wife of the late Centrell Boyer, was born in Round Oak, the daughter of the late Henry J. and Pattie F. Wilburn Jackson. She was a graduate of A. L. Miller High School and was a secretary retired from Dunlap (Youmans) Chevrolet. Mrs. Boyer was a member of Mabel White Memorial Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Courtney Miner.

Survivors include her daughter, Lisa (Evans) Millican of Griffin; her son, Wayne Boyer of Jonesboro; her great grandchildren, Madisyn Harris and Chandler Miner and several nieces and nephews.
