Marion McBath Murphy, 91, of Macon GA, went home to be with her Lord and Savior early Wednesday morning, September 15, 2021. Her sons, daughter and son-in-law were able to be with her during her final hours of life.

She worked at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. in Atlanta, Howard Hightower State Farm Agency, Springdale Elementary School, an attorney, financial and other business offices in Macon but most of her life she was a homemaker.
Marion was a crafter, always at her children’s sporting events and activities. She was active in several bible studies and other activities.

Over the years she served in many capacities at the following churches: Ingleside Presbyterian at Emory University in Decatur, Tattnall Square Presbyterian, Forest Hills Methodist, Northminster Presbyterian, Northside Christian, Mable White Memorial Baptist, and New Heights Baptist in Macon.
Marion, a devout Christian, loved the Lord and was always actively striving to understand the Word and deepen her own faith. Her love for Jesus Christ was evident in every aspect of her life and she instilled her faith and belief in the power of prayer to her family and friends. She loved deeply and made an impression in the lives of so many. She was a true Southern, Godly woman who showed random acts of kindness every day. She leaves behind a wonderful legacy to all who knew her. She lived a life of love, laughter and courage.
