Margaret “Pog” Pilcher Boney, 99, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Pastor Jon Beck officiating. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 p.m. to service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tabernacle Baptist Church, 6611 Zebulon Road, Macon GA 31210.
Margaret was born in Albany, Georgia to the late John V. and Choice Evva Deal Pilcher. She was preceded in death by her husband, John William Boney and a son, Steve Boney. Margaret was a lifelong member of Tabernacle Baptist Church and the Young at Heart. She enjoyed crafts, sewing and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother.
She is survived by her son, Mickey Boney of Macon, grandson, Jason (Victoria) Boney, great grandchildren, Evan, Heath and Finley Kate Boney, daughters-in-law, Jeanne Boney Ward and Toni (Leo) Deas and several nieces and nephews.
