Lucille Beatrice Shannon, 97, passed away on July 28, 2023. A Celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park with Tom Parks officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. The family will greet friends on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Lucille was born in Dexter, Georgia to the late Luches and Hattie Williams, and was preceded in death by her children, Junior Shannon and Linda Harris. She was a member of Calvary Community Church and was an artistic person who loved knitting, quilting, sewing, and coloring. Lucille also loved gardening and fishing.
She is survived by her children, Sandra Lavender (Ted), Faye Daniels, Wanda Hughes, Glenda Turner (Wade), Nadine Waters (Mickey), and Raymond Shannon (Elaine); daughter-in-law, Marie Shannon; 15 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.
