Louise was born on October 8, 1929, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Thomas Hiram Hill Sr. and Lois Ophelia Tharpe Hill. The third of four children, she developed courage, independence, and self-determination that would touch upon every aspect of her life. At age six, she started working, and would often accompany her father to cattle auctions. She had a great love of cows, nature, history, and genealogy, and was ever observing and learning. She was a member of the Mary Hammond Washington Chapter of the DAR, and formerly a member of the UDC Sidney Lanier Chapter. Her thoughtful guidance and steadfast care made her a pillar for her family, her most treasured accomplishment. Louise was a vivacious, quick-witted, ambitious, and giving woman who will be much missed by all who loved her.
