Lisa Karen Lucas, age 71, of Franklin, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, June 23, 2024. She was a beloved mother, sister and friend. Born to Ivan and Jennifer Moore of Murfreesboro, North Carolina, Lisa was an avid reader who loved word games. She passed that love of the written word on to her children. Lisa had a green thumb and enjoyed tending her plants and flowers. She always had rose bushes and loved watching them bloom. Her greatest passion was her pursuit of biblical knowledge, and she found her home when she became a baptized Jehovah’s Witness in 1974.
Lisa was best known for being a little sassy but always with a loving heart; she would do anything to help a friend in need. She is survived by her two children, Karen and Stephen Lucas; her two grandchildren, Emily and Tristan Lucas; her sister, Lynn Jenkins; her brother, Tom Moore; and various nieces and nephews.
