Lauren Amber Ward, 31, passed away on Sunday, August 15, 2021 after a long battle with Crohn's. A Celebration of Her Life will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 6:30 p.m. on the grounds of the Macon Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Rich DeWeese and Rev. Amber was born in Macon, Georgia to Jennifer Towne Branstetter and John “Wesley” Ward, Jr. She graduated class of 2008 from Rutland High School. Amber loved the outdoors, reading, and drawing. Amber will forever be remembered for her passion for always caring for others.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, W.E. and Ina Towne.
Amber is survived by her mother, Jennifer (Hal) Branstetter of Eldon, MO; father, John Wesley (Stephanie) Ward, Jr. of Macon; siblings, Travis Neil Ward, Maria Ashtyn King, John Taylor Ward and Reeanne Joy Ward; parental grandparents, John W. and Dorothy T. Ward, Sr.; grandmother, Jeresa G. Branstetter; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
