Larry Keith Teel, 76, went to with his Lord and Savior on January 19, 2024. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Snow’s @ Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe McDaniel officiating. The visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to service time at the funeral home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
Larry was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Charlie and Beatrice Teel. He is also preceded in death by his brother, Harold Teel. He is survived by his brother, Randall Teel of Macon; sister, Melanie (Mike) Bryan of Madison; sister-in-law, Chris (Ron) Mayo of Macon; nieces, Heather Bryan of Madison, Holly (Cory) Black of Fernandina Beach, Florida; nephew, Michael (Ellyn) Bryan of Decatur; and life-long friend and caregiver, Benjamin Barfield of Macon.
Larry was a graduate of Lanier High School Class of 1965. He was a graduate of Georgia College with a degree in Accounting and Business Management. He was an accountant at Bibb Manufacturing. He was Manager of Electronics Supply Co. in Macon for many years. He was of the Baptist faith and taught Sunday School for 22 years to the elderly living at McAfee Towers. He dearly loved sharing the Lord with the elderly. Throughout his life, Larry enjoyed coaching midget football for the community, cooking for his church dinners, cooking for his neighbors and sharing meals with the homeless under the Ocmulgee River bridge.
