Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday May 11, 2017 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Freddy Hogg officiating. Entombment will follow at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
A native of Wilcox County, Mrs. Rutledge was the daughter of the late Charles and Bonnie Coleman. She worked with Ocmulgee Arts as a bookkeeper. Mrs. Rutledge was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and Ivey Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children: Steve Rutledge and his wife Melinda, Deidra Rutledge Howard and her husband Jimmy, and Lisa Brooks and her husband Ronnie; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; a sister, Leola Ramsey; a brother, Clinton Coleman; and several nieces and nephews.
