Kimberly Lynn Smith Turner, 54, passed away on Monday, June 6, 2022. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Greg Smith officiating.
Kim was happily married to a Texan, Lawrence Turner for twenty-one years. They have lived in the Lewisville, Texas area most of those years. She was a loving mother to her husband’s daughter, Spencer.
Dogs always had a special place in her life. Kim was preceded in death by her dog family. Kim always has kept in touch with her friends from the Jonesboro area, where she grew up. She stayed part of the group she graduated with from Morrow High School in 1985.
Kim is survived by her mother, Kathy Brown (Mack) of Forsyth, Georgia, her father, Gary R. Smith and brother, Roger Smith both of Shellmans Bluff, Georgia.
Health problems slowed Kim down many times’ but she persevered for several years. Kim will be greatly missed by family and friends because of her fun-loving bubbly personality.
