BYRON – Kenneth Lawson Wynne, 47, died Monday, August 22, 2011 of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Eldridge Bowen officiating. The family will meet friends from 7 – 9 p.m., Thursday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue.
Mr. Wynne, son of the late Raymond Lawson Wynne and Sarah Griggers Wynne Davis, was born in Macon and was a 1982 graduate of Northside High School, Warner Robins and a graduate Macon Tech. He was of the Baptist Faith and had been in facility management with the Medical Center of Central Georgia for twenty-four years. Mr. Wynne loved the outdoors and was a member of the Lucky Shot Hunting Club. He was an avid and supportive fan of all sports, whether it be baseball, basketball, football or auto racing .
Mr. Wynne is survived by his devoted family, his sisters, Kimberley W. Clayton of Byron and Kathy (Toby) Keen of Hawkinsville; his niece, Kaitlyn Brook Keen of Hawkinsville; his nephew, Bryce Donald Keen of Hawkinsville; his loving companion, Adina M. Jones of Byron; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins and a host of friends.
