Kathy Nell Brown

Kathy Nell Brown, 68, passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2024. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Bass Road. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens with the Pastor Andy King officiating. The family will greet friends on Monday, January 8, 2024 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Kathy was born in Iuka, MS to the late Fred and Nedra Gainous. She was retired from the Clayton County Board of Education as a Bus Monitor. Kathy was of the Baptist faith. She was a devoted and loving wife, momma, grandma, great grandma, sister and aunt.

She is survived by her husband, Ricky Brown of Macon, sons, Sean (Samantha) Brown, Timothy (Jennifer) Brown, four grandchildren, Tyler (Lauren) Brown, Taylor Brown (Curtis), Kayla Head, and Ella Brown, six great grandchildren, two sisters, Donna (Edward) Ayers, Rena Pitner, two brothers, Ronnie Gainous, Roger Gainous and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
