Karen Mason Barry

Karen Mason Barry, 55, passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 10, 2011. Funeral services will be held at 1P.M., Saturday at Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. Kenan Hodges will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Barry, daughter of the late Junius Marion Mason and Iris Grace Watson Mason, was born in Hazlehurst, GA. She was the sister of the late Raymond Mason, Leonard Mason and Laverne Wilcox. Mrs. Barry was a Department Secretary in the Endo Surgery Unit of the Medical Center of Central Georgia and was one of Jehovah's Witnesses and attended the Kingdom Hall on Anthony Road.

Survivors include her husband, Michael Barry of Macon; her son, William Doyle Massey of Macon; her daughter, Andria Bude of Gray; her grandchildren, Alex Bude, Charlie Bude and Grace McKenzie Barry; her sister, Iris Brannan of Eatonton; her brothers, Herbert Mason of Hazlehurst and Curtis Mason of Juliette; several nieces and nephews.
