Judy H. Minshew

Judy H. Minshew, 64, passed away on Sunday, March 16, 2014. A celebration of her life and graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery, 1200 Moseley Road, Lizella, GA with the Rev. Mike Fuller officiating. The family will meet friends on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis TN 38105.

Mrs. Minshew was born in Macon, Georgia to the late William W. and Sara Holloway Hester. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church. Judy was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.

She is survived by her husband of forty eight years, John C. Minshew of Lizella, children; Chuck (Cele) Minshew of Macon, Chad (Ashley) Minshew of Kathleen, Judy E. Salter of Lizella, John C. Minshew II, of Lizella, six grandchildren; Merri, Patrick, Anna, Paige, Blythe, and Seth and sister; Barbara Hester of Lizella, and brother; Ben Tipton of Milledgeville and sister-in-law; Ruth Ross of Macon.
