Mrs. Chapman’s funeral service will be held at 11 am Saturday, September 1, 2018 in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff Powell officiating. Interment will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 am until 11 am at the funeral home.
A native of Toombs County, Mrs. Chapman was the daughter of the late Lawson and Myra Fiveash. She was a homemaker and a member of Safe Harbor Church. Over the years, she lovingly prepared meals for Wednesday night supper at West Highland Baptist Church. Mrs. Chapman served the Lord by cooking for homecomings, special occasions, and friends that were homebound. Anytime the church kitchen was open, she was there to serve. Mrs. Chapman was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Scott Chapman.
Mrs. Chapman is survived by her children: Judy Ray, Cathy Pyles and her husband Jeff, Lynn Davidson, Suzanne Cincola and her husband Mike, and Greg Chapman; six grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
