MACON – Johnny C. “Bubba” Williams, 73, was called Home to be with the Lord, Monday, October 25, 2010 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Jeffery Spencer will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Friday at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Mr. Williams, son of the late C. W. Williams and Ruby Green , was born in Eatonton and had lived in Macon most of his life. He was retired from Armstrong World Industries and was a member of Harvest Cathedral.
Survivors include his wife, Susie Mae Williams of Macon; his children, Cheryl McBride (Carol), Cynthia Maxwell, and Cassandra Grayer (Steve) all of Macon, Chandra Drummond (Kevin) of Dry Branch, Johnnie Williams of Stockbridge and Donny Williams of Ellenwood; his sisters, Lula Harris of Macon and Helen Green of Eatonton; twenty-two grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery has charge of arrangements.
