John B. Gordon, 89, of Macon passed away on May 21, 2021. A Graveside Service with military honors will be held Monday, May 24, 2021 at 11:00 am at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery officiated by Reverend Jeremy Singletary. Visitation will be held at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 3:00 pm.
Mr. Gordon was born in Jeffersonville, Georgia to the late John Brown Gordon and Nancy Price Thompson. He graduated from Lanier High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Mr. Gordon was employed at Keebler Bakery for 25 years. He attended Gateway Church of God. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. All of his grandchildren carried a special place in his heart.
Mr. Gordon is survived by his wife, Pat Gordon; daughters, Judy Drawhorn (Steve) and Barbara Warren (Kenny); son, Wally Gordon; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
