John Edward Chapman, 74, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Snow’s at Macon Memorial Park with Rev. Bobby Hamlin and Rev. Danny Lyles officiating. A visitation will be held at Snow’s at Macon Memorial Park on Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM.
Edward was born in Macon to the late John and Mary Chapman. He retired as the owner and operator of Chapman Transmission after 52 years. Edward was a member of Fellowship Church of Lizella.
Edward was preceded in death by his sister, Gloria Green.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Dale Chapman; daughters, Connie Hamrick (Troy) and Cindy Rumney (Andy); grandchildren, Nikki Hamrick (Brenden), Hannah Hamrick; great-grandchildren, Morgan and Dakota; sister, Mary Alice Dennard; several nieces and nephews and a host of cherished friends.
