Jimmy "Doc" T. Holloway, age 84, of Macon, Georgia passed away on Thursday, January 31, 2019. A Celebration of Life service will be held Monday, February 4, 2019 at Snow’s Memorial Chapel on Pio Nono Ave. at 11:00 AM with burial at Riverside Cemetery, 1301 Riverside Dr., Macon, Georgia 31201 with Rev. Lee Hyatt officiating. The family will greet friends Sunday, February 3, 3019 at 5:00-8:00 pm Snow's Memorial Chapel.
Jimmy was born in Thompkinsville, KY on October 14, 1934 to the late Harold and Madge Ferguson Holloway. Mr. Holloway was employed at Brown & Williamson as a sheet metal operator for 36 years. He was a member of Westside Church of Christ in Warner Robins, GA.
Mr. Holloway was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He is survived by his wife, Theresa Holloway of Macon, GA; son, Gary D. Holloway; daughter, Cathy A. Claycomb (Marty) of Brandenburg, KY.; son, Daron W. Holloway (Beth); granddaughter, Brandi R. Starley; great granddaughter, Abby Starley; and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Holloway was preceded in death by his brother, John Tom Holloway, and his sister, Carrie Eversole.
The family suggests that those who wish may make a donation to Westside Church of Christ, 158 Willow Ave., Warner Robins, GA 31093 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
