Jessica Marie Long

Jessica Marie Long, 32, passed away on Sunday, December 11, 2011. Funeral services and a celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Forest Hills United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery with Dr. Laudis H. Lanford and Rev. Teresa Edwards officiating. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to The Methodist Children’s Home, 304 Pierce Ave., Macon GA 31204.

Jessica was born in Macon, Georgia to Harry Quincy Long and Kathy Roberts Tucker. She was a graduate of Mount De Sales Academy and a graduate of Macon State College. Jessica attended Forest Hills United Methodist Church and was employed by GEICO. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Laura V. Roberts and Preston and Lou Ella Long.

She is survived by her mother, Kathy R. Tucker of Macon, father and stepmother, Harry Q. and Lynne Stone Long of Shellman Bluff, GA; sister, Sherry Redford of Macon, three step-sisters, Jessica Stone of Seattle, WA, Morgan Stone Thomas of Valdosta, Brooke Stone Player of Macon; step-brother, Matthew Stone of Charlotte, NC, maternal grandfather, Charles Y. Roberts III of Macon; three nephews, Gavin Redford, Cole Player, John Austin Thomas, Jr., aunt; Patti Roberts Williams,

uncle; Alan (Carol) Long and five cousins.
