Jerry Wayne Odum, 45, passed away Saturday, June 24, 2017. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Rev. Tommy Jordan will officiate. The family will greet friends following the memorial service and asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Central Baptist Church, Graham Road, Gray 31032.
Wayne was born in Macon the son of the late Mary “Peggy” Bowden Odum and Chalmers Frank Odum. He was employed by the Jones County Public Works Department.
Wayne is survived by his children, Austin Trevor Odum, McKayla Jordan Odum, and Brendan Jase Odum; sister and brother-in-law, Diane and Garry Bartlett; sister-in-law, Deborah Odum.
