Jeffrey Scott Johnson, 44, passed away on Tuesday, June 15, 2021. A Celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Stone Edge Church, 5659 Zebulon Road, Macon GA 31210, with Rev. Joey Ellis officiating. The family will greet friends on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Glioblastoma Foundation, P.O. Scott was born in Macon, Georgia to the late Cliff Alan Hayslip and Katherine Eremchuk Johnson. He was adopted by Clifford Johnson. He was member of Stone Edge Church. Scott served his country in the United States Army and Georgia National Guard being deployed three times. He was a Sergeant with the Bibb County Sheriff Department for almost two decades. He served citizens through the Patrol and Traffic units, specializing in the H.E.A.T. Unit, he served on the S.W.A.T. Team, the Training Unit, Strike Team and the Gang Unit. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother and uncle.
He is survived by his wife, DeLacey Johnson of Macon, son, Taylor Jace “Jacie Poo” Johnson, parents, Steve and Kathy Johnson, mother-and-father in law, James and Sherry Wright, siblings, Sheri Johnson Jones, Stephen (Tabitha) Johnson, Heather (Joe) Bloodworth, Tara Hayslip, Allan Tullos and Matthew Hayslip, siblings-in-laws, Kaleb (Christina) Chadwick, Brandon Kilgore, Kody (Lauren) Kilgore, nieces and nephews, Alex Johnson, Austin Bloodworth, Christian Jones, Madison Johnson, Allexis Bloodworth, Emma Johnson, Kari Beth Kilgore, Lillian Chadwick, Bradley Kilgore, Maverick Chadwick, pets, Miko and Huxley, and many other loving family and friends.
