Janie Gary Easley

Janie Gary Easley, 83, passed away Friday, June 30, 2023, at Serenity Manor Personal Care. Mrs. Easley will lie in state from 1:00pm-2:00pm, Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Snow’s at Macon Memorial Park. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Michael Palmer officiating. Interment will be at Macon Memorial Park.

Mrs. Easley was born November 6, 1939, in Macon to the late James Gary and Emma Shivers. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Mr. Leroy Easley, her sister, Essie Coutte, and brother, John Shivers. Mrs. Easley was retired from the Ford Motor Company in Detroit, Michigan and loved to go fishing and travel.

Mrs. Easley is survived by her daughter: Vivian Taylor-Spivey (Chris); grandchildren: Jo’Nee Taylor and Ja’ZZ Taylor; great-grandson: Ja’Zar Taylor; aunt: Alma Hardy and a devoted cousin: Nancy Darden, and a host of other relatives and friends.
